Brynna Hoggard

Brynna joined Eradigm in July 2021 as an Associate Consultant, bringing extensive experience in biomedical research and a passion for global healthcare.

She holds a PhD in Cancer Biology from Barts Cancer Institute in London, part of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Her research was funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council and focused on using technology to answer biological questions. There she was part of a multidisciplinary team of biologists and engineers, working to characterise and target a newly identified lung cancer driver mutation, and identify novel therapeutic strategies to treat it.

After completing her PhD, Brynna was awarded a grant to continue her research at Barts Cancer Institute as a postdoctoral researcher, and begin translating her research in the clinical sphere.

Prior to her academic studies, Brynna also worked in global health, where she developed tailored solutions to meet the needs of rural communities in Madagascar. There she led an initiative to improve public and environmental health through sustainable economic growth.

Outside of work, Brynna loves trying new and delicious food, as long as she doesn’t have to do the cooking. She is also an avid reader, loves taking on new knitting projects, and is learning to play the piano.
