Emer Murphy
Emer contributes deep scientific expertise to the Eradigm team, where in her prior role she worked as a scientist on early-stage drug discovery projects with the CRUK-Astra Zeneca drug discovery alliance. This work included strategic planning of accelerated projects, managing external collaborations, and identifying new potential targets for immunooncology assets.
Emer’s has a BSc. in Human Genetics from University College Cork, Ireland, where her focus aimed to identify the heritability of Psychosis disorders. Following this, she went on to complete an MSc. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Leeds. In her Master’s research, Emer investigated the effect of a novel small molecule inhibitor in comparison to, and in combination with, standard of care chemotherapy in childhood Ewing’s Sarcoma on primary samples from St James University Hospital in Leeds.
Outside of work, Emer enjoys cooking, writing her food blog, making her way through the best restaurants in London and running in Victoria Park to counteract all of that. Emer enjoys reading Scandi Noir novels, while trying to keep her houseplants alive.
