Chris Lew

Chris Lew is a Franchise Lead for Roche/Genentech Oncology Competitive Intelligence in Lung, Skin, Agnostic, GU, and GI portfolio. Since 2013, Chris has helped countless Roche teams (from Pre-IND to mature brands) make strategic decisions in competitive marketplaces, support their paths to successful commercialization, and find innovative assets for partnering/licensing. He has played a crucial role in evolving and shaping the Roche CI team from a handful of team members to an industry-leading world-class function. Chris was also responsible for setting up the first Roche China Affiliate CI department, hiring talent, and establishing functional excellence, just as China was going into its “golden age” of pharmaceutical development. Prior to working at Roche/Genentech, Chris worked for 4 years at consulting at firms in the Bay Area and New York helping pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic companies work on commercialization strategies for products. Chris has a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology and Finance from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. In his free time, he enjoys being a dog dad for his puppy (Sebastian), eating yummy food at new restaurants (when we’re not in COVID times), traveling, and getting physical activity in (e.g. swimming, running, hiking, etc.).
