Sean Abbott-Imboden

Sean joined Eradigm as an Associate Consultant in August 2022, bringing to the team his prior experience in healthcare consultancy, medical communications and data management.

Sean previously worked at a boutique life sciences consulting firm, where his role centred on conducting primary and secondary research to identify key market events and trends to support pharmaceutical companies’ strategy. Sean has worked with a plethora of pharmaceutical companies across a range of therapeutic area specific projects and cross-portfolio workstreams. Prior to this, Sean worked in Data Management for a top-10 clinical research organisation where he was responsible for reconciling and analysing clinical trial data, maintaining study documentation, and performing quality control audits of clinical trial databases.

Sean holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Warwick which provided him with a platform to pursue his MSc in Cancer Biology at University College London (UCL). His MSc (Distinction) consolidated his skills in critically evaluating primary and secondary scientific literature, experimental planning and interpretation of results. Diverging away from his oncology background to supplement his knowledge and support broader research efforts, his MSc dissertation focused on developing a computational in-silico model to identify drug combinations to fight COVID-19. His work contributed to a scientific publication in Nature Partner Journals – Digital Medicine.

Sean’s academic and professional experiences have provided him with a deep understanding of the commercial and therapeutic landscape across oncology, neurology and COVID-19 as well as continually emerging fields such as digital healthcare.

Outside of work, Sean is a huge sports enthusiast. He is particularly keen on playing football, running, going to the gym and skiing. He also enjoys travelling and spending time with friends and family.
